About us

Lets Go Africa Foundation (LGAF) , a non profit, poverty alleviation  and social impact organization was formed in 2001 to support and build partnerships through research, training and exchange programs in order to promote better life options for the at risk and disadvantaged.

LGAF programs are aimed to create informed awareness through projects, advocacy and social networks for the upliftment of the poor by way of skills development in health, gender equity, infrastructure, food security, climate change, social protection and rapid planned urbanization.

LGAF realizes the need for a new kind of vision, leadership and stability for growth realizing the huge inequalities of growth and development in Africa. This can be done through the education, interventions, exchange of information and promotion of a knowledge hub and community development.

The Foundation was formed exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. Membership is free and open to anyone with an interest to help the poor.
